Behind the Tequila
We take pride in creating fine sipping tequila that enhances every experience. All of our tequilas are handcrafted using 100% ultra-premium blue weber agave, each aged in its own unique process and barrels.

Our tequila is sourced from The Highlands of Jalisco known as Los Altos. This area is known for its sweet agave due to the distinguished red soil, high elevation, and increased sunlight.

Our piñas are roasted in red brick ovens for a full 48 hours before the juices are separated from agave fibers. These are later twined together for our very own bottle ropes. In Mexico, other companies re-use these fibers.

Our fermentation process is around two-hundred hours long compared to the average of 72 hours. This long waiting period is where the sugars and carbohydrates convert into alcohol, creating our full-bodied tequila.

Next, our tequila is distilled to separate components of the liquid mixture created during the fermentation process. In the distillation, the “heads” and “tails” are removed leaving only the heart of the agave.

During the aging process, our tequila develops darker colors, hues, and hints of toasted wood, and an overall smoother taste. Once reaching the desired age, our juice will be placed in a stainless steel tank.

The tequila rests in steel tanks until it is taken to the bottling machine. Custom-molded glass bottles are sent down a conveyer belt to be filled with tequila. The bottles are then hand-labeled and corked.
Unique Packaging
Our bottles are unlike any other. Created from a custom mold, CaliFino bottles are the perfect size for single-hand holding. Our agave fiber ropes are hand dyed and tied around the neck of each bottle. Our 100% natural corks are crafted with our agave logo etched into the tops, which are the perfect size to seal the tequila. Our leather labels are are created by hand and delicately attached to the glass. Each bottle is uniquely handcrafted, just for you.
Our Barrels
CaliFino takes pride in our unmatched aging process. We carefully selected to age each of our tequilas in White American Oak barrels. These are previously used one-time for Jack Daniels Whiskey and are sourced from the heart of Tennessee. After our Extra Añejo ages for seven years in American Oak it is then aged in French Oak barrels. These are previously used by Cognac and are sourced directly from France.
