Rosemary Margarita Background

The Rosemary Margarita is a fan favorite, especially during the summer months. This margarita is not only delicious, but it’s also somewhat healthy for you! Did you know, Rosemary is a rich source of antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds, which help boost the immune system and improve blood circulation. Rosemary is considered a cognitive stimulant and can help improve memory performance and quality. It is also known to boost alertness, intelligence, and focus. Add that Rosemary to a little Tequila and you’ll be on a good one in no time.

Rosemary Margarita Ingredients

2 oz. Califino Reposado, 1 oz. rosemary-infused simple syrup*, ¾ oz. fresh lemon juice, ½ oz. store-bought pear juice, Club soda

Rosemary Margarita Step-By-Step

Add all ingredients (except club soda) to cocktail shaker and shake to combine. Pour into Collins glass, served on the rocks. Top with splash of club soda. Garnish with fresh rosemary sprig.

Rosemary Syrup: Bring to boil over medium heat 1 cup granulated sugar, 1 cup water and 6 fresh rosemary sprigs. Simmer and stir until sugar is dissolved.

Over the many decades, rosemary has continued to prove itself as an essential ingredient in crafting elegant and tasty cocktails. Rosemary has been used with every spirit imaginable and has been utilized in countless ways in terms of mixology. However, we believe that the most essential and classic use of rosemary is paired alongside one of the most classic cocktails of all time, the Margarita. The spritz flavor of the Margarita is capitalized upon by the added rosemary-infused syrup, which grounds the drink while providing a unique tasting experience that regular simple syrup cannot achieve.
