This Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used, disclosed, and protected when you use this website and the related services (the "Services"). If there is a conflict between this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service, this Privacy Policy governs with respect to personal information.

Cookies we use

Analytics. Help us understand which pages, bottles and recipes people use, in aggregate. Provided by Shopify and, where enabled, Google Analytics.
Marketing. Used to measure our advertising and to show CaliFino ads to people who have visited this site. Provided by advertising partners such as Google and Meta. Turned off if you opt out of sale or sharing, or switch marketing off in Your Privacy Choices.

Shopify's Customer Privacy tools honor your choice across the site and checkout. We also honor Global Privacy Control browser signals where required by law.

Your California privacy rights (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, gives you the following rights. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of them.

Right to delete. Request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to legal exceptions such as completing a transaction or complying with alcohol regulations.

We may share limited information with advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising, which California law treats as "sharing." Right to limit use of sensitive personal information. We do not collect sensitive personal information beyond what is needed to verify age and process orders, and we do not use it to infer characteristics about you.

Categories we collect. Identifiers (name, email, phone, address, IP address); commercial information (orders and purchase history); internet activity (pages viewed, interactions with the site and ads); geolocation (approximate, from IP); and age confirmation. We collect these from you directly, from cookies and similar technologies, and from BarBank, licensed retailers, payment processors and carriers. We use them for the purposes described in "How we use information" and retain them as described in "Protection and retention."

How to exercise your rights. Use the Contact page or email info@barbank.com with "California privacy request" in the subject. We will verify your identity by matching the information you provide to information we hold, and respond within 45 days. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf; we will ask for proof of authorization.

Notice of financial incentive. If we offer a discount in exchange for signing up for email, the value of your information to us is reasonably related to the discount offered, and you may withdraw at any time by unsubscribing.

Protection and retention

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system is completely secure, and information is retained only as long as necessary for business, legal, and compliance purposes.

Cross-border data

Personal information may be processed outside your state or country. Transfers from the EEA or UK, if applicable, rely on approved transfer mechanisms such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
